By accessing or using MyMoney ("the Service"), operated at mymoney.nyquiste.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of MyMoney. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
MyMoney is a personal financial management tool that allows users to connect their bank accounts through Plaid, a third-party financial data aggregation service, and view aggregated account balances, transaction history, and spending analytics. MyMoney provides read-only access to your financial data. We do not initiate transactions, move money, or have the ability to alter your bank accounts in any way.
The Service is currently operating in a sandbox/development environment using Plaid's sandbox credentials. In this mode, only test data is used and no real financial institution connections are made. When the Service transitions to production, real bank connections will be enabled.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
Access to the Service requires registration using your email address. We use a passwordless authentication system ("magic links") delivered via email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account, as it serves as your authentication method. You agree to notify us immediately at the contact information below if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your email account.
MyMoney uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. ("Plaid") to connect to your financial institutions. By using the bank connection feature, you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Plaid's services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which are independent of MyMoney's policies. We are not responsible for Plaid's practices or the availability of their services.
When you connect a bank account, you authorize Plaid to retrieve your financial data on your behalf and share it with MyMoney. This authorization is governed by Plaid's terms. You may revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting your accounts within the Service or through Plaid's portal.

The information displayed in the Service, including account balances, transaction data, spending analytics, and budget summaries, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making any financial decisions. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the financial data displayed, as it is sourced from third-party financial institutions via Plaid.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyMoney and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your personal information; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service; (d) any errors or inaccuracies in the financial data displayed; or (e) any other matter relating to the Service.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid, if any, to use the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any financial data retrieved through Plaid or other third-party sources.
All content, design, code, and materials comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to MyMoney and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at the address below. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which the Service operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, unless prohibited by applicable law.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
